Roads to Bad Omens

What it does

An interactive force-directed graph visualization of music listening transitions, mapping how artists and channels flow into one another based on your watched history. It parses your Google Takeout history and maps the transitions between songs with a blazingly fast Go backend or Python processing.

Why did I make this?

Have you ever been talking with a friend and said, “does it feel like your Youtube Music always ends up at Bad Omens?” Do all roads lead to Bad Omens? The following is a simple graph that looks at your youtube and/or youtube music history and with a few assumptions (time between start times) maps the transitions between the songs. The thought being to see the central nodes of your own youtube history.

Are all roads leading to bad omens (or your own bad omens artist), or are you just a bit crazy?!
